Do you have a product idea that you want to develop?
NTNU Discovery provides financial support to employees and students at NTNU and Helse Midt-Norge who are in the initial phase of developing a new product.

You can apply for financial support for pilot projects throughout the year. Students can apply for up to NOK 75,000 and employees up to NOK 200,000.

If you have progressed further, you can apply for main project funding. Students can receive up to NOK 300,000 and employees up to NOK 1,000,000.
Grants for main projects are awarded twice a year.

Reducing costs in the cloud

Companies are moving more and more data and computing power to cloud services such as Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud. Akif Quddus Khan at the Department of Computer Science has now received NOK 1 million from NTNU Discovery to further develop and test a solution that will reduce the costs of using such services.
